2024 State Convention

 

The Republican Party of Texas met in San Antonio for its 2024 Convention May 23-25.

 

State-wide Delegates elected Abraham George to be Chairman and D’rinda Randall to be Vice Chairman for two-year terms beginning June 2024.

 

Senate District 8 Delegates re-elected Maggie Whitt and Jim Pikl to be State Republican Executive Committee Chairwoman and Chairman respectively for two-year terms beginning June 2024.

 

State-wide Delegates adopted rules for the Party for 2024-2025, adopted a platform for 2024-2025, and selected eight Legislative Priorities for the 89th Session of the Texas Legislature in 2025. The party platform and explanations of each priority may be seen at the links below.
